Shirley has been married to Harold E. Gierke
for 51 years. They are parents of 6 children
and grandparents of 9 grandchildren. Shirley
was office manager for Portable Pavers Inc.,
a construction business, for 22 years. She
has served on the Custer County Sewer and
Water District board and the State Banking
board. She is currently serving on the Miles
Community College Endowment board as well as
the Town and Country Club board. She is a
member of the Sacred Heart Parish, Council
of Catholic Women and is Treasurer of the
Convent Keepers in Miles City.
